What if there is bad weather on the day of my visit?

The park does not close for rain. However, if there are high winds or lightning is detected within a certain radius of the park, park guests will be asked to stay out of the water for safety reasons until the weather has cleared. If severe weather persist Cowabunga Bay, at it’s sole discretion may determine to close the park. If this is the case rain checks will be issued for admission on another day. On extreme weather days, high winds, or when temperatures dip below 65 degrees, you MUST retain your receipt to claim a rain check. If the park closes due to inclement weather only those who have a valid purchase receipt will be given rain-checks. Season Pass holder are not eligible for rain checks. Refunds on parking and lockers will not be issued due to inclement weather.
